Q. how to find the best in-house sales training programs? I have a sales question that the users of this group might be able to help with. Which companies presently have the strongest sales training programs?
A. - I am presently looking into entry-level sales jobs, and I don't know which company would offer the best long-term training. If you have read "Rich Dad, Poor Dad," Robert Kiyosaki mentioned that he decided to work for Zerox because at the time, they had the best sales training program. In "Sales Dogs," Blair Singer mentioned that he worked for UNISYS for the same reason. But I do not know if either of these companies still have the best training programs, or if there is a better training opportunity today. Also, I have until now worked with older adults, and ideally, I would prefer to find an opportunity that allows me to draw on this previous experience. - I'd suggest that where you go depends on what you are going to sell. Selling mainframe computers to large corporations is different from selling neckties at the retail level.
