A. There are many divisions in NASCAR. A buddy of mine is at the NASCAR driving school in Texas. There aren't any Asians in the American division, but in the European division, there are some Asians that are sent to the driving school in Texas. In his class, he says there's about two or three. It is a very intense 18-month training. When you are finished, you can start driving in the smaller regional and local races. Your biggest obstacle in the beginning of your NASCAR career, he says, is to get a car. The ideal is to have your own car, but even almost all the professional drivers do not own their own racing cars. The best resource is call up NASCAR if you really want to hit the nail on the head. Posting a message in a forum and insinuating discrimination at NASCAR's expense is just plain cowardice, dumb and counterproductive.
