Ged Study Book
Q. I realize that the header says k12 but I am hoping that some of you may also have experiene with adults in ABE or GED classes. I can't seem to find any chat locations or lesson plans for teachers of these classes. Tomorrow I will start teaching this three hour per week class. I have many years of experience teaching adults but all in various types of ESOL classes
A. I have taught GED summer school lessons and suggest you purchase a GED study guide book and concentrate on similar lessons. Check with your local library to obtain the book--the GED books are like the study books for the SAT. Also, search the internet for Even Start. Even Start Programs service adults trying to obtain GED certification. There are a number of GED books that Even Start should be able to recommend. Good luck. You should enjoy teaching adults. They are usually dedicated and very appreciative.
