Ged Practice Test Online
Q. My son has been schooled privately at home since 9th grade (long story), but he will be going to a four-year college, and has to take the ACT. I thought we could find an online class for him to take to learn about the test and get a good idea of his standing, but there don't seem to be many. The only one I have found is Princeton Review. Is this the only one? If there are others, which is best?
A. I went through a similar search for an online GRE course for myself last year, and at the time Princeton's was the only one I could find. I did come across downloadable software, and also some companies selling CD-roms, but my whole reason for wanting an online course was because I am not very good at studying on my own. The Princeton one worked out great for me. I did the "live online" version, where you have interactive lessons with other students and a teacher interspersed with the flash lessons and practice tests. It really improved my score. They had a less expensive version that did not include the "live" classroom element. I don't know how their ACT prep compares, but I assume the layout and format of the lessons would be somewhat similar. So I guess what I am trying to say is that I'm not sure if Princeton is the only one out there, but I really had a good experience with them.
