Ged High School Diploma

Q. What's the difference between a "GED" and a regular High School Diploma?? Is one better than the other?? Is a "GED" just as accepted as the High School Diploma?

A. "The General Educational Development (GED) is an international high school equivalency testing program for adults. If you pass the 5 tests given your are provided a high school equivalency certificate. The GED certificate shows than an adult has the equivalency of a high school education although that adult may have dropped out or never attended high school. It paves the way to attend higher education courses without going back to high school if one achieves the GED certificate. Whether the GED is accepted or not depends on the institution you are planning to attend, best to check with them.
