Does anyone have any experience with any driving schools around town?
Q. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with any driving schools around town. I've called Joes a couple times and they don't seem to be too interested in giving lessons. They keep saying they'll call but never do. I don't want the in class sessions just the in car lessons.
A. My son used Excel Driving school and he didn't turn out to be too bad of a driver. His girlfriend is going through Young Drivers, which is ok also. Which ever one you use I hope they teach you how to properly drive around big trucks (tractor trailers). They have blind spots, can't stop on a dime, and take a while to pick up speed. Also most have at least 4 mirrors, so when you are following with high beams on the driver gets it in the eyes worse than a car driver does (same when the headlights are out of alignment).
