A. I have no association with the Distance Education and Training Council (formerly National Home Study Council). I have met the executive director, Mike Lambert, at a couple conferences of the American Association for Collegiate Independent Study, and found him very helpful and concerned with making educational opportunities widely available. As far as I know, they don't have e-mail yet Another interesting thing that I have noticed, is most of these distance learning programs do not seem to have e-mail addresses for correspondance. I wonder if many of these programs are not as advanced as they might like us to think. Now here I agree with you. If I can get internet e-mail and Usenet access for $30/yr I think these guys could do at least as much.
